Forget about painful razor burns, itchy rashes from waxing, those pesky ingrown hairs and conventional methods like tweezing that seem to just cause more discolouration to your skin.
IPL hair removal emits a series of wavelengths into the skin and literally gets to the root of the problem by targeting the pigments and completely destroying hair follicles once and for all, minimising the chance of ingrown hairs. It works when the intense pulsed light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair, which quickly turns to heat that kills the growing cells that produce hair.
The new cutting-edge hair removal technique like never seen before will wow you with amazing, long lasting satisfactory results.
Say ‘hello’ to no downtime quick sessions that require as little as 5 minutes off your busy schedule – so you can easily fit IPL treatments into your lunch break and go right back to work after!
There might be some form of tingling sensation when you undergo the IPL hair removal treatment process but not to worry, the pain is completely bearable!
Prior to each treatment, a cooling gel will be applied on the intended treatment areas. Protective eye wear will be provided to shield your eyes from laser’s light. During treatment, you will feel the heat/warmness from the treatment.
The interval periods really depend on the location of the treatment. For treating under arms and bikini areas, treatment sessions are usually 6-7 weeks apart because growth cycles are slower. For the other body areas, treatment sessions are generally 8-10 weeks apart.
There are no side effects of IPL hair removal. It is FDA-approved and safe for the use of hair removal!
The hairs will fall out gradually over the course of 3 weeks after the epidermis is renewed. The hair follicles are killed by the heat but the hairs remain in the skin and often become attached to the epidermis.
